Need a bike before spring? Like tomorrow? How about parts and accessories? Funky handmade cycling caps? And most importantly, soap and scrubs fo’ yo’ funky bike booty (or whatever) by yours truly? Come on out to the Chicago Bike Swap tomorrow (SATURDAY!) at UIC from 10-5… browse the wares and info-tables of hundreds of bike shops, not-for-profits, and individuals. We always come home with some treasures and some real bargains from this event!

“Admission for the public is just $10. Kids 12 and under get in free. Active Trans members and UIC i-card holders get in for just $5.

Bike shops, businesses, nonprofits, bike clubs, bike race teams and individuals will be exhibiting their amazing bike stuff!

Got an extra bike or two you want to sell or trade for a really good deal? For $5 per bike (limit three per person), you can place them in our corral.

We’ll tag and monitor the bike/s that you want to sell or trade. Then feel free to walk around and enjoy the fun. If there’s interest in your bike, we’ll give you a call while you’re at the event. Just don’t forget to bring your cell phone!”
