Candlemas- halfway towards the light… hang on tight, folks. She’ll be round in no time… easy to say, harder still to believe. Warm thoughts. Candles. Salt. Birch bark. Frankincense. Can’t hurt.

Till then, take refuge in the cozy-ish cabin… pull up a chair by the hearth and pull out a good book! And a blanket. Better make that three, of each. Or seven. Or even nine. Tell yourself, in August, when there is so much work to do and you’re sweltering, you’ll dream of these days, perhaps. Perhaps. Sweat, don’t shiver, I always say…
