GARDEN: Mme. Pierre Oger Rose

Time-Machine… to June! This heirloom rose is spectacular for a week or so. Then it’s a sleeper until next summer, when Mademoiselle batts her eyelashes and blushes again. Till then, I gathered several baskets of petals for tea, soaps, and rose petal granola, from this grand lady and some of her friends (the Reine’s de Violettes, and Love).
