Urban Livestock Expo, this Saturday!

Honey, have you heard the latest buzz on bees? Give a cluck about backyard chickens? Out hunting for wabbits? Gearing up to git yer goat? You’re in good company!

Come on out this Saturday to meet and mingle with other urban farmers, both dreamers and do-ers (I’d say most of us fall somewhere on the middle ground in that spectrum). Looking forward to seeing some familiar and many fresh faces in the crowd. I think we’ll be providing some celebrity chickens for the panel… we’re holding auditions today in our coop. Calmest, flashiest, least-molting-est hens only need apply (I think I’ll be bringing the Orpington and the Speckled Sussex, though it’s still a toss-up).
